[Purpose] This study was to investigate the effects of non-motorized treadmill and elastic bands on lower extremity strength, fall risk factors, and walking ability of the elderly with brain lesions. The subjects of this study were 24 elderly people with Bronstrom V or more who were diagnosed with brain lesions due to stroke over 65 years of age.BR[Results] First, there was a significant difference in extensor(p.001) and flexor(p.001) in the lower extremity strength of the elderly with brain lesions who participated in the exercise program using non-motor treadmill and elastic band for 8 weeks.BRSecond, there was a significant difference in fall risk factors of the elderly with brain lesions who participated in exercise program using non-motorized treadmill and elastic band for 8 weeks (p.001).BRThird, there was a significant difference in gait ability of the elderly with brain lesions who participated in the exercise program using non-motorized treadmill and elastic band for 8 weeks (p.001).BR[Conclusion] This study proved that the exercise program of this study is an exercise program that can have a positive effect on lower extremity strength, fall risk factors, and walking ability when planning a rehabilitation exercise program for stroke disabled people who have difficulty in recovering their function.
