Taking "the vitality of urban street space" as the research object, this paper selected the central urban area of Beijing as an example, and quantitatively analyzed the influence mechanism of street spatial characteristics on urban vitality by mining multi-channel data related to street spatial form, function realization and crowd activity with the help of data visualization, GIS spatial analysis, Python script and other technologies. The Rhino platform is used to construct the street space environment, and the activities of the street space are simulated and evaluated, so as to further explore effective urban design strategies to improve the vitality of the street. Through quantitative spatial investigation and dynamic simulation of spatial vitality, practical and effective street space vitality design indicators are proposed to guide the solution of the current lack of street space vitality, and to improve the quality of street space from the dimension of urban design.
