Features of the Formation of a Public Transportation Center Based on a Transportation and Transfer Node

The article defines the features of the functional organization of public transport centres on the transport interchanges in combination with the station complex. The role of cut-off parking lots in the multifunctional structure placed in the nodes of the city's planning framework is emphasize. The advantages of using modern types of ecological public transport and means of alternative energy for the maintenance of transport interchanges are take into account. The study uses the method of analogue analysis and structural-functional analysis of foreign examples of public centres at transport interchanges.
