This paper presents the implementation of a high order method for solving the time-harmonic linearized Navier-Stokes equations based on the so called Flux Reconstruction (FR) method on Graphical Processing Units (GPUs). The strong data locality makes the FR scheme a good candidate to be executed efficiently on a GPU. The aim of this work is to evaluate its computational efficiency and accuracy in the simulation of propagating small unsteady flow perturbations, which is essential in aeroacoustic and aeroelastic analysis of turbomachinery designs. It is shown that the resulting solver is remarkably fast, accurate and computationally efficient to be used for those purposes.
