The digital divide is an issue facing rural America that affects the agriculture industry. In Tennessee, farmland loss and lack of broadband accessibility in rural communities are two of the most pressing topics in agriculture today. This research aims to understand the factors impacting farmers' decision to leave the industry and sell their land, using the lens of broadband accessibility in Tennessee. We hope to inform the tech industry and the state to address this issue.
