The article reflects the role and importance of the Russian language in the world and shows the important role of Russian diplomacy in the complex solution of the problems of language dissemination and protection in the context of a global hybrid war. Russian Russian is characterized by internal and external threats to the Russian language, and the need to develop a concept of ensuring the linguistic security of the Russian language in the context of modern realities is substantiated.
