Sulfur-containing polymers with high melting points can be easily obtained from the copolymerization of phenylisothiocyanate and oxetane, as reported by Alex J. Plajer et al. in their Research Article (e202405047). The resulting polythioimidocarbonate can then serve as the core-forming block in the crystallization-driven self-assembly of a diblock copolymer, accessed employing a macro-chain transfer agent strategy.
