This article theoretically examines the effect of various variables on the second harmonic generation (SHG) coefficients of cylindrical GaAs/Ga 1– η Al η As quantum dots. The iterative approach and the compact‐density matrix method have been utilized to determine the expression of the SHG coefficient. The outcomes demonstrate that the variation of the SHG coefficient is closely related to structural parameters, external conditions, and incident photon energy.
