The finite element method was utilized to explore the impact of various parameters on the performance of concrete structures reinforced with fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites. The analysis was based on Mindlin's first order shear deformation theory. Specifically, the study examined how the length and width of the bond layers, as well as the number of adhesive fiber-reinforced polymer layers, influence the interfacial performance between the concrete and FRP. Numerical results from this study indicate that the characteristics of the bond layer in FRP-reinforced concrete significantly affect the adhesive effectiveness at the interface.
