The paper examines the development of international electronic commerce within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Based on the analysis of customs regulation novelties, the author highlights several aspects of upcoming changes in the law of the EAEU related to the regulation of the institution of electronic commerce. The highlighted aspects relate to the terminological apparatus of the EAEU, the subject system of customs legal relations, customs operations and procedures within the framework of electronic trade in goods. A conclusion is made about the gradual formation of a comprehensive institution of electronic commerce in the EAEU, combining the norms of private and public law. The author predicts the introduction of changes and additions to national legislation on administrative responsibility and consumer protection in connection with the development of regulation of electronic commerce at the EAEU level.
