Modern legal relations are subject to significant transformation. Digital technologies are undergoing tremendous development today, influencing all areas of public relations. Digitalization especially affects the processes of transmission, processing and storage of information, which is of great importance in civil legal relations and affects business processes. The openness and scale of dissemination of information has a significant impact on business reputation - information about a legal entity that characterizes its activities. Changing the methods of transmitting such information leads to the emergence of a number of problems relating to the protection of business reputation. The purpose of this study is to consider a number of issues related to the implementation of the right to protect business reputation in the age of progressive development of digital technologies. Identification of key problems in protecting business reputation is necessary to analyze the effectiveness of the current legal regulation of the sphere of civil legal relations, to formulate problematic aspects of protecting the rights of citizens and legal entities, as well as to understand the features of the evolution of law under the influence of digitalization.
