There are more than 70 million people with autism worldwide, and according to China's "Report on the Development of China's Autism Education and Rehabilitation Industry", there are currently more than 10 million people with autism in our country, with the incidence rate increasing year by year, and the problems of employment and life of autism groups have received wider attention. In this paper, we designed three rounds of visual color experiments to investigate the intervention effect of art therapy for autistic groups by focusing on the color preference and cognitive ability of autistic groups in the Recovery Center for Mentally Handicapped Groups in Zhongshan District, Dalian China. The results of the experiments show that more than 89.7% of the total number of autistic people prefer yellow color. In addition, a user behavior optimization model was used to process the experimental data to make the experimental design more practical and informative. The experiment finally provides a complete color reference for the design of the autism group.
