Abstract

It is shown that the values of the ratios B(D⁰→ a₀(980)⁺π⁻)/B (D⁰→ a₀(980)⁻π⁺ ) and B(D⁺→ a₀(980)⁺π⁰)/B (D⁺→ a₀(980)⁰ π⁺), recently measured by the BESIII Collaboration, are naturally explained in the four-quark model of the a₀(980) resonance.
