The article is devoted to the problem of interaction between separating elements, which are a pair of rollers rotating in opposite directions, and bulk separated material. To study this interaction, an experimental setup was made that makes it possible to change the main design and operating parameters: the frequency and amplitude of vibration of the rollers, as well as their angle of inclination. For the kinematic scheme, a theoretical analysis was carried out and calculation using the Mathcad mathematical package of the dependences of the speed of movement of particles of the separated material on the vibration frequency and the angle of inclination of the separator rollers. These dependences are strictly linear. This made it possible to approximate the calculation results obtained by implementing the proposed rather complex algorithm with the simplest function of two independent variables. The complete coincidence of the approximated and approximating dependences of the movement speed on the indicated variables is shown. In turn, they coincide with a sufficient degree of accuracy with the results obtained experimentally.
