With the growing interest in exploring the unknown underwater world, underwater tourism has become an emerging trend, which also brings about new demands for tourism safety and underwater exploration technologies. In this context, this paper aims to investigate path prediction modeling for submarine failure scenarios with an example in the Ionian Sea. In this paper, a prediction model based on kinematics and dynamics equations is used and combined with a Gaussian Markov process to simulate the current velocity, while an uncertainty perturbation term is introduced to improve the model's realism. To ensure that the submarine can be found in the shortest possible time, this paper establishes the weights of the dimensional and indicator layers based on the analysis hierarchy process (AHP) and entropy weighting method (EWM) and then calculates the scores of the required devices using the TOPSIS method. It was finally determined that the most suitable equipment is the magnetometer, followed by equipment such as a sonar system. This study provides a framework for improving search and rescue efficiency in submarine malfunction situations.
