This paper presents the design of a wideband 1-bit diode-loaded reflectarray, employing a quasi-magneto-electric (quasi-ME) dipole framework. By toggling the pin diodes between "ON" and "OFF" states, the element achieves a substantial 1-bit bandwidth spanning from 19.9 GHz to 30.5 GHz (42.06%) while maintaining a reflection phase difference within ±20° of 180°. Utilizing this proposed element, a prototype is manufactured and evaluated, demonstrating impressive beam scanning capabilities. The prototype achieves a peak gain of 22.5 dBi and a peak aperture efficiency of 22.6%. Notably, within a 3 dB gain bandwidth of 39.5% (21.8 – 31.8 GHz), showcasing the potential for advanced reconfigurable antenna systems.
