A novel flexible broadband transmission line enabling extremely low loss is proposed in this paper, which is composed of conductor-backed coplanar waveguide (CBCPW) and periodically arranged triangles at the edges. From theoretical simulation, it is demonstrated that the periodically arranged edge-based triangular arrays can effectively block wave leakage at DC-60 GHz. The design is simple and transmits the TEM mode. The flexible transmission line was verified for both flat and bent states, showing excellent transmission performance. It is observed that the average <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">S₂₁</tex> is −1.52 <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">dB</tex> , and the average <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">s₁₁</tex> is less than −10 dB in the whole band from DC to 60 GHz.
