This paper presents a receiving-transmitting (R-T) topology scheme based on a novel differentially-transferred unit cell. The middle metallic layer as the common ground. The uppermost metallic layer comprises of a pair of spiral strips for transmitting. For demonstration, a simple linearly polarized (LP) horn antenna is utilized to illuminate the transmitarray comprising 20 X 20 differential elements. The measured results of the fabricated prototype are in alignment with the simulated ones. The measured 3-dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth is 60.9% (17-31.8 GHz) and the 3-dB gain bandwidth is 43.9% (19.65-30.4 GHz).
