Memristor has found to be the replacement for CMOS transistors in different fields of electronics and in neuromorphic computations. In this work, a simple window function for LIDM is proposed without any control parameters to introduce nonlinearities to the memristor model. The proposed window function is a combination of bi-quadratic equation and cosine function. This window function does not take current through the memristor as any of its parameter and it depends completely on the state variable. This new mathematical model for the TiO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> memristor model can resolve the boundary effect issues and is capable of maintaining symmetrical Pinched Hysteresis Loop up to a voltage of 12V without any distortions. The operating frequency range of proposed model is 0.5Hz to 15Hz and is suitable for low frequency applications.
