We obtain parabolic transmission eigenvalue-free regions for interior transmission problems with L^∞ coefficients which are Lipschitz near the boundary. We also suppose that the restrictions of the coefficients on the boundary are C^μ smooth with an integer μ≥ 2 and we investigate the way in which the transmission eigenvalue-free regions depend on μ.
