The aim of this study is to address the challenge of design of static output feedback controller for 2D discrete Markovian jump Systems described by the second Fornasini-Marchesini state space model. The main objective of this paper is to develop a static output feedback (SOF) controller which guarantees the global asymptotic stabilization of the closed-loop considered system. The proposed approach will be based on the construction of a dependent candidate Lyapunov function combined with Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) techniques in order to establish sufficient conditions for the controller design into a convex optimization problem. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller design.
