Proposed topology achieves efficient voltage boosting and stabilization in wireless power systems, suggesting performance improvements.
Wireless power transfer (WPT) systems demand both flexible output regulation and high power density. However, conventional DC/DC cascaded receivers suffer from limited miniaturization due to bulky magnetic components. This paper proposes a receiver‐side composite boost‐cascade topology for LCC‐S wireless charging systems. By using the secondary coil to boost the voltage, this design integrates rectification and DC/DC conversion into a unified compact module. We establish a state‐space model for this receiver‐side topology, which demonstrates decoupled energy transfer dynamics between positive and negative half‐cycles. Building on this insight, we propose a dual‐cycle boosting strategy (DBS) that implements independent chopper control for each AC half‐cycle to stabilize output voltage. This strategy synergizes with dual regulator capacitors featuring dynamic charge balancing for automatic voltage equalization. Simulation verification confirms CV/CC/CP multi‐mode controllability, while hardware measurements demonstrate the following: ultra‐low output ripple of ±0.03 V (at 40 V output), stable 100 V/2 A power delivery from 25 V input, and sub‐30 ms load‐transient recovery. These experimental results collectively validate the proposed topology's single‐inductor efficacy and transient robustness. This integration achieves an optimal compromise between size, cost, and performance for scalable precision WPT applications.
