The report discusses the history of the practical application of jet technology to strengthen foundations in the Russian Federation and the experience of Research Institute of Bases and Underground Structures named after N.M. Gersevanov scientists participation in these works. Specific examples of the technology application are described. The influence of technological factors on the use of technology is shown. The main factors that became the basis for the development of the chapter of SP 291.1325800.2017, dedicated to strengthening foundations using jet-grouting technology, are described.
