The work is devoted to development of a method for calculating a hybrid power parallel configuration for an unmanned aerial vehicle with a vertical take-off and landing system. This method makes it possible to calculate the main parameters of the hybrid system: calculation of the required electrical power and battery capacity, energy and required charging time to maintain a certain degree of charge; determination of the mass characteristics of electric batteries, as well as fuel consumption for the flight mission and additional generator operation.
