Based on the hydrodynamic calculation model, which includes the real mechanism of oil displacement by water in a terrigenous reservoir, the influence of geological and technological factors affecting the oil recovery factor was studied, and the possibilities of increasing production were evaluated. It has been established that after a certain period of development in the reservoir by injection of low-salinity water, the creation of its rim and then the displacement of formation water oil is effective, and with the regulation of clay activity, an increase in reservoir oil recovery was revealed due to the coverage of low-permeability parts of the reservoir under the influence of water.
