In the paper, we discuss the possible interpretation of the <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><a:msup><a:mi>J</a:mi><a:mi>P</a:mi></a:msup><a:mo>=</a:mo><a:mn>1</a:mn><a:mo>/</a:mo><a:msup><a:mn>2</a:mn><a:mo>−</a:mo></a:msup></a:math> singly charm pentaquark as hadronic molecules. With the effective Lagrangian method, we further analyze the production properties of singly charm pentaquark from decays of <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><c:mi>B</c:mi></c:math> meson, including strong coupling constants and production branching ratios of the charm pentaquark. Our numerical results show that the branching ratio of production of pentaquark from <e:math xmlns:e="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><e:mi>B</e:mi></e:math> meson can reach to order of <g:math xmlns:g="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><g:msup><g:mn>10</g:mn><g:mrow><g:mo>−</g:mo><g:mn>6</g:mn></g:mrow></g:msup></g:math>.
