In an ungrounded neutral system, when abnormal situations such as closing the no-load busbar, disappearance of single phase grounding, or drastic changes in system load occur, the iron core of the electromagnetic voltage transformer may become saturated, leading to ferroresonance overvoltage. This article analyzes the principle and suppression measures of ferromagnetic resonance in electromagnetic voltage transformers. By establishing a simulation model based on ATPEMTP, the dynamic response characteristics of fundamental frequency resonance, fractional frequency resonance, and low-frequency nonlinear oscillation when a single-phase ground fault occurs in a 10kV system are simulated and analyzed. Different suppression measures are also simulated and analyzed to analyze their advantages and disadvantages, providing reference for engineering applications.
