An improvement in the polyphase system for Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) is presented in this article to reduce the impact of the low-order harmonics in the air gap and on the induced voltage at the receiver pad. The proposed solution is studied using a simplified analytical model, and later, a more complex topology is introduced and analysed using a Finite Element Method software. The results show that it is possible to mitigate the fifth, seventh and eleventh harmonic without a significant increment in the air gap between the WPT pads. Furthermore, a dynamic model for a balanced system with a three-phase transmitter and multiple phases with a series of resonant tanks on the receiver side is developed using four states instead of eight.
