This bibliometric analysis examines scholarly publications on mobile payment continuance to understand research foci and identify gaps in the literature.A systematic search of Scopus identified 58 relevant articles published between 2013 and early 2023.Publication trends, prominent authors, and research areas are visualized using RStudio-Biblioshiny and VosViewer.The findings reveal a growing body of research centered on determinants of continuance intention, with China producing the most studies.While adoption factors like perceived usefulness dominate, few studies address moderators or cultural differences.Methodologically, cross-sectional surveys using structural equation modeling prevail.Several gaps in sampling, theories, and methods offer avenues to advance mobile payment research.Situating this study within broader information systems scholarship, these findings provide researchers with an updated understanding of the current state of literature to inform future mobile payment inquiries, particularly in understudied contexts.The analysis also demonstrates the value of bibliometric reviews in assessing emerging technology research domains.
