Advocates in their activities face numerous risks that cannot but affect the effectiveness of protecting the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of individuals and organization. The purpose of the article is to identify these risks and explore ways to minimize them both within the framework of legislative activity, and in theory and practice. Increasing the level of legal awareness and legal culture of society is also inextricably linked with overcoming by representatives of the legal profession, including advocates, those challenges that pose professional risks to them.
