According to the address characteristics and structural characteristics of an underground artificial chamber gas storage, a structural model of an underground chamber including steel lining, flexible concrete, concrete lining, and surrounding rock is established, and two limit states of large slip and no contact between steel lining and flexible concrete are simulated respectively. The stability of the surrounding rock and lining structure are calculated and analyzed by using large finite element software FLAC3D and ANSYS respectively. The results show that the maximum deformation of the surrounding rock is 1.57cm, the maximum stress of steel lining is 262.08MPa, and the changes of plastic zone, displacement, and steel lining stress of surrounding rock can meet the design requirements of this project.
