Catalytic Water Splitting Developing electrocatalysts for water splitting, vital in clean hydrogen production, is challenging. In article number 2300607, Alicia Forment-Aliaga, Maria del Carmen Gimenez-Lopez, and co-workers present a novel POM/Pd/MoS2 heterostructure with hierarchical growth. POM polymerization into fibers, triggered by Pd nanoparticles, creates a bifunctional catalyst. Simultaneously, MoS2 sheets enhance charge storage, boosting catalytic activity. This development offers an innovative solution for sustainable hydrogen and oxygen production.
