High-quality employment is the driving force and foundation for promoting high-quality development in China, and it is one of the key indicators to measure the level of professional construction and teaching quality. This paper focuses on the important part of the employment of automation graduates in higher vocational colleges, and uses SWOT analysis to analyze the problems and challenges faced by the high-quality employment of automation graduates from the three levels of individual, specialty and industry. Based on the theory of cognitive information processing, this paper puts forward the idea of student-centered and the high-quality employment of automation graduates.
