This abstract provides an overview of a novel IoT-based system designed to enhance the shopping experience by introducing a "Human-Following Shopping Trolley" Traditional shopping trolleys have remained relatively unchanged for decades, but this innovation leverages IoT technology and a mobile app to bring convenience and efficiency to the shopping process. The system comprises a smart shopping trolley equipped with sensors and actuators, allowing it to autonomouslyfollow a shopper as they navigate the store. This eliminates the need for physical pushing and pulling, making shopping more accessible, especially for the elderly and those with mobility issues. The trolleycommunicates with a mobile app installed on the shopper's smartphone or device
