The article is devoted to the issue of developing a textbook of Russian language for the children of our compatriots abroad studying at a Russian school. The creation of such a textbook is primarily due to the need to preserve the Russian-speaking space in the countries of residence of our compatriots, especially in the socio-cultural and political environment today, as well as the needs of methodological theory, in which the textbook of Russian language has never been the object of research. The author reveals the features of the methodological organization of the cultural content of the target textbook by highlighting its main components and ways of presenting it, taking into account the specifics of intercultural language education in primary school.
