This project intends to extract two representative characteristics derived from parallel excitation and multiple excitation pathways based on existing nuclear power generation systems. The main excitation circuit model of self-shunt excitation is established. Then a multichannel switch control method based on PID integrated control is proposed. The main purpose of this design is to realize the simulation of multi-channel switch and tracking in the excitation system of power station. The function characteristics of maximum current and minimum overexcitation time limit, starting value, limiting value, dynamic process constraint and parameter setting requirements are studied, and the cooperative relationship among generator protection, stator overcurrent limit and excitation variable protection is defined. Finally, a representative excitation system is built based on Rinsim software. Through the simulation of no-load and grid-connected units, it is verified that the proposed excitation system can realize the effective regulation of both side voltage and reactive power. The tracking and switching of excitation path are highlighted and the correctness of the method is verified.
