In recent years, electrical fire accidents occur frequently, and the residual current electrical fire monitoring system has a large error because it cannot filter the capacitive current component effectively. Thus, in view of the shortcomings of existing residual current monitoring systems, this paper first analyses the working principle of residual current detection. Then, in order to analyze the effect of capacitive impedance on the error rate of residual current electrical fire monitoring detector, this paper measured the data of the ordinary type and the resistive-capacitive separated type residual current electrical fire monitoring detectors by constructing a residual current accurate reproduction test platform and adjusting the capacitive impedance ratio and residual current test level. The effect on the error rate of residual current type electrical fire monitoring detectors under different residual current values and capacitive impedance ratios is revealed. The change trend is obtained by the nonlinear fitting curve to provide data support for the subsequent study, so as to filter out the effect of the capacitive current component on the residual current electrical fire monitoring detector.
