This project studies a PI switch surface sliding mode controller with load frequency changes to solve the problem of optimal control of load frequency in multi-regional networked power grids. A new sliding mode controller based on proportional-integral switching surfaces is used to solve local load disturbances and parameter changes in multi-region networked power grids. This system can effectively reduce the frequency fluctuation of the grid load. The power grid parameters of the two regions are used as mathematical models, and the correctness and robustness of the algorithm are verified by comparing with existing control algorithms. The control strategy proposed by this algorithm can effectively suppress chattering, reduce frequency deviation, and quickly approach 0. This significantly improves system stability. This algorithm can minimize the fluctuation of the load frequency within the specified range and optimize when there are regional load interferences and parameter changes in the power system.
