The strategy for the rational use of agricultural land and the features of implementation In the regions of Russia

The negative consequences of problems in organizing the rational use and protection of agricultural lands create significant risks for ensuring the country’s food security and preserving land potential for future generations of Russian people. The article presents the results of the analysis of the state and directions in the development of land use, identifies the most critical trends, proposed strategic decisions and tools for the formation an effective land management system. The paper also substantiates the need to develop and implement a document defining the essence and content of the state’s land policy.
