This article summarizes some of the attempts made in the previous years for the detection and prevention of fire, and how they were advantageous and throw a light on some of their disadvantages and how these short-comings can be handled. The use of sensors and on- board cameras in unmanned aerial vehicles has grown significantly in the recent age and day when the technology is at an advanced age for the surveillance and monitoring of the forest and man-made fires and also for their prevention. By using Image classification and image processing techniques like SVM and YOLOv5 the data sent to the base-station by the UAV will be examined and further actions can be taken. By using these techniques, it is possible to detect areas with possible threat to the nature and can be used to take care of extinguishing the fire before it spreads and gives the fire-fighters a proper idea about the surroundings and the overview of the terrain they are dealing with. This prototype can be used to minimize the environmental impact created by the fire while at the same time reducing the damage done to the fire-fighters and leads to the efficient dealing of the fire.
