This work includes the design and analysis of a four-element Wi-Fi shaped slot circular patch multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna optimized for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications. Partial ground and slots in the patch offered large bandwidth along with high gain. The antenna is constructed on a FR4 lossy substrate of relative dielectric constant of 4.3. Measuring approximately 60 × 68 × 0.87 ~mm³, the MIMO antenna provides efficient integration into various wireless networks. The design's performance features, including impedance matching, scattering patterns, gain, and surface current are thoroughly examined. The simulation findings indicates that the antenna has a large bandwidth of 9GHz covering 8GHz to 17GHz frequency range. -51 ~dB return loss at the center frequency indicates proper impedance matching as well as high isolation from one antenna element to another element is achieved with a return loss less than - 2 0 dB over the frequency range. The MIMO antenna also offers a gain of 4.7 ~dB.
