The near-infrared to ultraviolet photon gathering capabilities of perovskite/CIGS tandem solar cells have increased their popularity in recent years. In this work, a Monolithic (2-T) tandem solar cell with ITO/ZnO/FAPbI <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</inf> (perovskite)/Cu <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> O/AZO/ZnSe/CIGS/SnSe/Mo structure have been investigated, and the effects of two organic hole transport materials (small molecules–Spiro-OMeTAD, polymer–PEDOT:PSS) including the inorganic Cu <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> O as an intermediate recombination layer are tested, also, non-radiative (Shockley-Read-Hall (SRH) transition via defects) recombination effects, the front and bottom electrode work function, temperature sensitivity, and cell performance under solar concentrator are thoroughly analyzed on the solar cell performance such as key performance parameters, and $J-V$ characteristics. The device is modeled using the Poisson and drift-diffusion model hosted by wxAMPS, taking into account band-to-band tunneling and their displacement. Based on the obtained data, the power conversion efficiency of ≥33% is achievable for the proposed tandem structure with a reasonable fill factor and associated performance parameters.
