Demand response (DR) is recognized as an efficient method for reducing operational uncertainties and promoting the efficient incorporation of renewable energy sources. However, since the effectiveness of DR is greatly influenced by consumer behavior, it is crucial to determine the degree to which DR programs can offer adaptable capability and facilitate the use of renewable energy resources. In order to tackle this, this paper proposes a methodological framework for describing DR uncertainty modeling. First, the demand-side activities in DR are divided into some modules such as load usage, contract selection, and actual performance, to analyze the effects of physical and human factors on multiple time scales. On this basis, a variety of data-driven methods such as regret matching mechanism is introduced to determine the analysis model of the influence of various factors on DR applicability. Finally, by using an authentic 10 kV regional distribution network located in Beijing, a multi-attribute evaluation framework is proposed, and the effects of DR Implementation on the economic and environmental benefits of the distribution systems are discussed.
