Machine Learning based Two Stage Personality Prediction System

Personality is the individual's unique set of traits. The way one thinks, feels or behaves indicates which type of personality one belongs to. Thus personality is an important parameter as it distinguishes a person from another. Having knowledge of personality of individuals is a fascinating domain for researchers. Traditional method of personality prediction uses questionnaires which is laborious and takes more time. Considering the huge popularity of social media among population, researchers are focusing on it for predicting personality from online social data. Users share a lot about themselves on social media, these posts or images can help in revealing their personality. a 2 stage machine learning based system is proposed for predicting negative personality based on behavior analysis from textual inputs. In this work t experimental results are presented using live twitter data towards personality prediction. Alongwith Multinomial Naïve Bayes is also validated using proposed system with SVM, kNN and AdaBoost. Promising results suggested that the current work shall be extremely beneficial for fellow researchers.
