Objective: In this study, the clinical efficacy of Yiqi, Wenyang and Tongluo formula in the treatment of lower limb lymphedema of gynecological tumors after radiotherapy was observed in a randomized controlled study in order to provide new ideas for the treatment of lower limb lymphedema. Methods: Forty-six patients meeting the inclusion conditions were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, in which the treatment group was treated with oral administration of Yiqi, Wenyang and Tongluo formula combined with CDT therapy, while the control group was treated with CDT therapy alone, with 4 consecutive weeks of CDT therapy as a course of treatment, and a total of 3 courses of treatment. The changes of circumference of each part of the affected limbs, BMI, TCM scores, GCLQ scores and KPS scores of the two groups were recorded before and after 3 courses of treatment. Results: 1) After treatment, LELI of both groups decreased significantly compared with that before treatment (P<0.05). Comparison of the efficacy of lower limb circumference between the two groups showed that the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group (P>0.05). 2) The TCM evidence points of both groups decreased after treatment compared with the pre-treatment period, and the total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.00%; the total effective rate of the control group was 56.52%. In the GCLQ scores, the pain domain scores of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). In addition, the KPS score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The efficacy of Yiqi, Wenyang and Tongluo formula combined with CDT treatment in the treatment of patients with lower limb lymphedema after gynecological oncology radiotherapy is precise, and it can significantly improve the patients' circumference of the affected limbs, LELI, Chinese medicine evidence scores, scores of various domains of the GCLQ, and KPS scores, so as to reduce the patients' local oedema and inflammatory reactions, improve the patients' clinical symptoms, and thus improve the patients' quality of life.
