The central nervous system is the body's processing centre, composed of the brain and spinal cord. The brain controls the overall functioning of the human body. The growth of abnormal cells in the brain is denoted as tumors. They are called malignant tumors. These may be cancerous or non-cancerous cells that spread all over the body. Detection of brain tumor cells is the most complicated task in medicine. The brain tumour cells are diverse in size, shape and texture, creating numerous complications. Earlier prediction of the tumor cells leads to cure and complete recovery. Thus, deep learning techniques are employed in this research study to detect the tumour cells by obtaining Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) images. Here, the tumor and healthy cells in the human body are classified through image processing techniques. The proposed methodology includes data pre-processing, filtering, segmentation and feature extraction.
