Here in, we describe the photochemical decarboxylative alkylation of quinoxalin‐2(1 H )‐ones using commercially accessible carboxylic acids with oxygen as sole oxidant through energy transfer process. The coupling of diverse array of alkyl carboxylic acids (1° to 3°) and bioactive acids with quinoxalin‐2(1 H )‐ones is successfully accomplished to achieve the desired alkylated products.
