Patient involvement through co-design for the development of mobile application-supported auditory rehabilitation after CI transplantation

Introduction The rehabilitation after the implantation of a cochlear implant is significantly dependent on the learning curve of the implant recipient. To support auditory and speech therapy rehabilitation, this project presents an application for mobile devices that enables autonomous learning for the patient through intelligent exercise selection. The application was developed with patients as a co-design concept to ensure the involvement of future users.
