Objective In order to individualize cochlea implant surgery regarding cochlear morphology, different electrode arrays have been developed. The aim of the study is to investigate the influence of the electrode array design concerning intracochlear trauma and residual hearing preservation. Furthermore, we intend to examine the influence of cochlear morphology on preoperative residual hearing.
