Introduction In 20 patients unilaterally fitted with Vibrant Soundbridge (VSB) and 10 patients fitted with Bonebridge (BB) (both from MED-EL, Austria) (implantation at least 6 months ago, contralateral ear with at most mild hearing loss (PTA4<30dB)), sound localization ability and speech intelligibility were to be examined.
